Have not seen many of these made of actual metal in this price range. Video review that runs for almost 7 minutes over on Amazon is very well done and super helpful. One thing the reviewer mentioned that I had not heard before was giving the 3M adhesive 3 days to bond to the mounting surface before you start using the mount. I'm in for 3 as stocking stuffers. My parents have been using the weak flimsy phone holders from Dollar Tree laugh out loud
