Sort of. If you buy some beeswax and add a couple layers, they'll get darker, but they'll be pretty waterproof.
One of the big controversial issues with these is they have a heel, but no shank. This makes them structurally poor. If you like arch support, they are pretty bad. If you like more of a flexible feel, you may like them. Many people do.
You have to wear them a LOT of times before the leather creases and they break in. At least that's what I remember from pre-2020. After covid, my fashion sense and willingness to wear anything other than sneakers has gone down a lot.
I got a pair of these for Christmas Dec 2016
I still wear them to the office and camping
Coat them In sno seal once or every other year and they have held up nice. I wouldn't say waterproof if standing in water but I have never got wet feet in them and have ran through puddles after work when raining downtown or camping. But not sure if I just stood in water I am sure water would make its way in

Amazon[amazon.com] has Clarks Men's Bushacre 2 Chukka Boot (Beeswax) on sale for $43.40. Shipping is free.
Bought this several years back. I have only worn this handful of times. Every time I bend my feet or drive with these, it hurts my feet from the upper side (hard) of the boot. For the people who bought this, How did you get around this?

Bought these in 2019 for around $35. Go full size down. Also leather is very prone to scuffs and scratching. Even sealed and brand new had little scratches. Not comfy but might be okay with insole added. I do like they are in-between dress shoes and boots. Would buy an all black leather pair at similar price but they are thin leather less than $50 boots so don't expect much.

Anyway lasting great and look great still
I just looked and paid $68 for them in 2016
I bought these a while too and was wondering when and how much. Just looked at my order history, was all the way back in 2014! for $58!
I'll add that in my experience these are OK on comfort but not great, and definitely not great for support. I significantly wore through the ball of the shoe in two years with semi regular use

Yeah I have added 2 insoles to mine during ownership and I think an insole is a must for comfort. I do love them still and wear them 2-3 times a week when it's cold out which is only like 4 months max in FL lol
I got mine for $35 back in 2019 after a $15 coupon. I wore them once or twice and was glad it wasn't all day at work. They're really uncomfortable on the ball of my foot, but be careful in going down a size. I got my size and put different insoles in them and even with thin ones they are tight.

Good boot for the price. I buy all dress shoes from Clark's because they are typically good quality.
I have these in a half leather half canvas and they look nice, not the comfiest thing, but they've lasted.
I gope that helps.

You step in a puddle, you will get wet feet most likely.
They are "desert boots" after all.
