I have a few Yaxell knives from C&M, and along with the Enso knives, I think they're probably the best deal going in premium knives. The quality finish and "super sharpness" of these blades is just a cut above. I think it's a bargain at this price.

I'd probably recommend taking it to a professional. A lot of people buy cheaper bread knives so that they can just replace them when they dull because they're notoriously difficult to re-sharpen. It's not as simple as using a whetstone like you would with your normal beveled knives.

It's difficult, you need to take a hone and go through each hole until a burr forms and then you go to the other/flat side and use the hone again until it's sharp. Look up videos on youtube and google for the required tools. Luckily because it's cutting bread it doesn't need to be as sharp as most knives so you can get away without using whetstones and other more expensive sharpening equipment.

I haven't had issue sharpening bread knives with my work sharp sharpener but there's probably lots of purists who would tell you to use stone
