The $1499 MSI Newegg 4080 laptop has more GPU power than this, although the screen on the Acer is far superior. Given the choices, I'd trust the build quality of MSI more than Acer.

The screen at 240hz and smooth as butter....Acer made laptops before...I consider MSI an off branded laptop but I'm just an internet geezer.

The keys on my msi I payed 2500 for stop working, had to use a USB keyboard. Then let's just says things went bad for the laptop as soon as my 3 year warranty was up when it came to the body of the laptop.

Same. I got the MSI GS65 Stealth in Nov 2019. It was great (and arguably still is) great for awhile.
However, a few months in; it developed a burn-in spot in the lower corner of the screen. It's not often noticeable, but it is there. MSI support was kind of trash (as expected).
As of a few months ago, it developed hinge issues on one side. As a result, it is no longer closing properly without additional assistance. This appears to be a common issue to several MSI laptops in the last few years based on my recent research. Never had hinge issues with other laptops in my last 20 years of owning several (Sony Vaio, MacBook, Acer, Dell, Compaq, etc.)
