I am not sure about 7pro but mine 6a was unlocked from the day I received.
I look like a new account to Mint each time by using Gmail's "plus sign" feature whereby you insert some random text preceded by a plus sign right before the @ in your email address and that extra stuff looks like a different address to Mint, but Gmail ignores it. For example:
[email protected]
Looks unique to Mint, but still gets processed to the [email protected] address by Google. I often use the company and date for the random text to ensure it's unique, so I'd have:
[email protected]
Texting via group texts sometimes doesn't go through (or come through) and sending pictures via text just don't work. After troubleshooting for a year with support and reddit forums, there still isn't a fix. It got better after switching the APN and found one that works OK, but it's never consistent.
Just a warning to anyone considering the switch.

I understand 6 months will be without service.

I bet you can find a ton of used ones on Ebay or FB MP as everyone has upgraded to the Pixel 8 now, and are probably trying to offload their Pixel 7 cases.
As a data point, I have listed mine (Pixel 7 non pro unfortunately) on both sites lol
Or do we just not know where to enter the code?
There might make different hardware for region/country but a phone made for North America, should support all the carrier's bands here
Edit: I called Mint and they said they will restock the Pixel 7 Pro after New Year
seems like decent case for great price
