I'm working off a 40" MSI Mag401qr ($360) and not a fan of the viewing angle/drop in brightness just inches from the center. This has a slight 2.5M curve, assuming that negates it a bit, but also that this is much higher quality.
I've done research in this category and the 40BP95C-W is apparently the same monitor, just for businesses so you get a larger warranty. It was recently available for $1150, so holding for this to drop or other similar 38" monitors to drop further (also interested in 38" with slightly lower resolution but higher frequency).

The MSI has a resolution of 3440x1440 but this LG is 5120x2160, they are different panels.
