Anyone get 70s vibes from the front panel? I feel like there needs to be an ashtray on top for my smokes while the shag carpet caresses my feet in my yellow desk chair. I definitely don't hate it, but that paneling just yanks me back to the 70s/ early 80s for some reason. The define cases are chefs kiss on appearance.
A lot of people here aren't old enough to remember the 70s or 80s. But I believe the aesthetic here is mid century modern, which pulls from a period that predates either of those decades, but I'm sure there were periods in the 70s where this design language was popular.

I wish it was this price when I was building my PC a few months ago.

You don't need a new build. Unless it will make you more money 💰 directly by increasing your thru put as a professional it's just for kicks. Hell just upgrade to a 5800x3d or get a better graphics card if you insist but don't start a whole new build cause you can that's not a must.

Anyone care to comment about noise level with a mesh door? Seems like the window version would be more quiet.
Mesh version is fine with Noctua U12 cooler.

I will stick with my enterprise workstation that cost around twice those for all the parts, including a MUCH nicer case. A SlickDeal on a case was once $20, now $120. I recycle enterprise workstations and this is how much I pay for a machine before I stuff dual 16core Xeons on the board and 256GB ram. You kids are rich these days, or maybe just wasteful. Even when computers were expensive back in the 1990s you would never see a case cost this much. Yet, you would see a bargain basement PC tower alone for $1000+ and no sub-1000 market. But the case was $50....
Why, back in _my_ day, we used to buy a PC for a nickel! Get off my lawn!
