Luckily, I read the reviews... Lots of reviews of the battery going bad VERY soon after purchase. Likely the reason they're trying to clear these out.

When I made my review on Amazon, there was a notice that only verified purchasers can review this because of "inconsistencies." I take this to mean that the company is gaming the review system - almost every positive review says "Vine Review" on it.
Luckily, I read the reviews... Lots of reviews of the battery going bad VERY soon after purchase. Likely the reason they're trying to clear these out.
