I was going to buy that pan, but the handle is plastic and you can't use it in your oven. Hard pass.

Isn't "non-stick stainless steel" an oxymoron?

Stainless steel, when heated to the proper high temperature, becomes non-stick without the need of added oils or butter or anything. Tons of videos showing how food just glides through the pan. I love our stainless steel pans.

It looks like maybe the exterior is stainless steel, tho the specs don't specify. Interior is carbon steel with a non-stick coating, according to the image. Kind of an odd combo, imo. Ideally it would have at least an aluminum layer in the base for conductivity since the heat is coming from the griddle surface or burner below, but it doesn't seem to.

Yes. I have a stainless steel pan and am familiar with that technique to keep food from sticking. There's a reason why there are so many videos on that topic…it's not intuitive and it does take practice. Knowing exactly what's going on, even I don't always get it right. It only works within a temperature window. That's why I'm saying when it comes to pans like this that are not likely to be used by people who have watched videos to learn the technique…non-stick stainless steel is an oxymoron. It's the context.

Does the non-stick coating contain the various normal carcinogenic, neurotoxic, forever chemicals?

I was literally going to use the words "stainless", "non-stick", and "oxymoron" in a sentence, lol.

Let's point out that plastic handle too.

Is that handle plastic or silicone? If plastic, that is terrible manufacturing. Really? On a BBQ? laugh out loud
Some of the reviews say the handle is "rubber" and well made, but specs say "plastic". Rubber sounds like silicone to me. Who knows, bought one anyway, worse case it melts and I can just purchase a removable handle.

Yep. Stainless pans usually have metal handles due to the extreme temps needed to achieve somewhat non-stick'ness and for putting it in the oven.

There are so many things wrong I don't know where to start.

It has a lid (with more plastic on it), but doesn't your grill already have a lid anyway?

Why would you use the rack for draining fried items when it's going to sit there cooking in the grill heat?

It has a handle... either you put it over the grill heat, which wastes space, or you have it stick out, and now you can't close the grill?

If you need to deep fry a few items on a grill, just:

Dropping prices down to normal retail prices isn't slick
