Simple Choice Plan here. I received the targeted email to upgrade a 4G phone to 5G. Tired to get the iPhone SE (3rd gen) that was mentioned in previous post. T-Mobile store, Costco kiosk, and Care Rep. couldn't find that phone promotion. Instead they said they could offer me this $800 off via EIP w/trade-in of any working, undamaged device. Traded a previously free via EIP Galaxy A32 and a Galaxy S23 ($799) arrived today. Costco kiosk was not able to honor this promotion and Customer Care Rep said they could only fulfill it over the phone. Had to pay $35 upgrade fee and phone's taxes upfront.

If you take this promo does it make you ineligible for future promos? Or is that only if you remove something from your line and it prevents you from promos for like 90 days? Hope I'm making sense. Thank you.

Even if a phone rep said I'm eligible. I'm too scare to try it. I think the phone reps may lie or make a mistake when I order over the phone.
