Later I realized I only used 3 pixel promos but the promo limit was 4 so I connected again through the T-Mobile android app to chat with an agent and asked about the $700 off Pixel 8 P621 promo and traded in another old iPhone X to get the fourth Pixel 8. Did they change the type of account you have to their Go5 or whatever the designation is?

This was what happened to me. Were they able to get your account added? I was told 72hours but just don't want to waste my time waiting if nothing really happens anyway

They promised to add me (sc) as well to this promo and told to wait 48hrs for the promo email. It's been 48hrs and still no email or text.

I was told the same thing. They said we will get a text from T-Mobile. Thank you. If anyone who got escalated got it added, we would love to know.

Definitely seems YMMV...haven't called or chatted but I'm leery of a rep saying yes and then find out later I'm upgraded to Go5G for an additional $120/mo over my current 1.0 plan 4 lines

My SC rate plan is not eligible per call with rep.

Edit: I was asked if I was interested in changing my rate plan to be eligible for the promotion. I politely declined.

I placed my order yesterday and Rep confirmed the details, now today the trade in credit I am seeing on my account is way less than $800...looks like Reps have no idea and they are just false promising customers..

There is an immediate trade-in credit based on device and the remainding credit is spread across 24 months. For my A32 I got $5 immediate trade-in credit and then the remaining $695 will be given $28.96/mo 24 mo. For my iPhone X they gave me $70 immediate trade-in credit and the remaining $730 will be given back as monthly credits. This is how it has always worked for TMO device trade-ins...

I wish there was some way to see your segments when logging into the website or the app. It feels like calling in and asking about these deals is just asking to be disappointed. As a targeted deal I can't imagine they wouldn't be reaching out to the people who actually qualify with a text. I won't be surprised when a few months down the road these threads are filled with people complaining about not actually getting the deal and having to argue with CS to try to get on it and eventually having to give up.

Edit- especially the people trying multiple different times/ways. Did the first people just not know how to check or is the new person just telling you what you want to hear so they can hit a metric?

I just tried chatting and told the promo is not active on my account
Lol two days it was there and now its not. Not sure how the people were able to use it twice on SC.

I was told 24hrs and when I called back the rep said I am eligible to upgrade 2 lines with $800 off and I was on call for close to 1hr gave IMEI and the rep gave me a cost breakdown and $35 activation for each line and then came back and said she is not able to see the offer. Wasted 1 hr if you are waiting for the offer to be added not worth calling in my opinion unless you want to waste hrs with ridiculous customer support.
