Just an FYI for people who care about this sort of thing, Nova was purchased by a data analytics company about a year ago IIRC.

It seems like a lot of people aren't aware so I figured it's worth mentioning.

To find a link now, I'd have to do the same thing you would do, which is google "nova launcher sold data analytics" or something similar.

I've got it, but stopped using it years ago. There's almost too many options/setting/configurations. It can be intimidating to have to sort through so many settings/options. For those who love customizations and zillions of options, it's probably great. I prefer Microsoft Launcher instead. More simple and I like the look.

That's what I should do. Nova would make sense maybe 5+ years ago but I would think brands have caught up by now with their features no? I like that you can sync Nova settings to the next device so it stays exactly the same. Is Samsung/Google able to do that?

thanks op, i got a phone over the summer
and was waiting for this sale to come back.

i primarily use it to rename app icons as
the latest android 12 desktop was fine.

This is just a money grab for something that used to be good. There may be some value left in the tank for some users.... I've had nothing but trouble with it on my pixel 8 whether it be the app store app or the downloaded beta app. I hope someone can develop something in this space that can compete or be just as good as it was at the beginning. I've removed the app from my phone as it's no longer worth the frustration. Hopefully someone can develop an app to compete at some point.

It's funny this comment section is all over the place. I've used Nova back in the day on my Note 3 when stock launchers did need an upgrade. Now i'm on Fold 4 and used Nova and Windows, but have used the stock launcher until recently. Only switched to Windows because i use allot of their products and wanted a refresh feel on phone.
