So yourself a favor and skip the cutscenes. I don't understand what they were thinking. Absolute cringe.

Huge difference between racing games. There is simulation, arcade, and sim-cade. Some have story, and some don't. Some are open world where you can race and also do "quests". Feel of the car, and how they implement controller support vs wheel support. Some on dirt, some on pavement, some mixed. etc. etc.

At most, there's maybe eight hours of additional story content with the deluxe version. With the base version, you can play the DLC cars and tracks online if others host it.

I just bought it on PSN store. It is for both PS4 and PS5 but I only have a PS4. It seems like a good deal. I also just bought Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered (PS4) for $3.99.

Good game and deal (I just purchased Grid Legends). I found some good comparisons between Grid 2019 and this, and they trade blows, almost a toss up. But many prefer the older Grid game to Legends. (I liked the engine sounds better in old game but both are fine.).

from my experience has good wheel support. Didn't require lots of troubleshooting like most other racers. I wanted something arcadey but realistic and it fit the spot nicely.
