Yeah, we kind of ruined something practical for ourselves. All I think of when I see them is the proud American in the 80's and 90's sporting them as a fashion accessory and it's a deterrent for me.

I imagine Dwayne Johnson doesn't image search his Rock days because of the fanny pack.

I'm always amused what Americans think other countries are doing. I've been to five countries this year, and just came back from three western European countries this month. Strangely, just don't recall the ubiquity of the fanny pack anywhere I went…
