There's one nearby me but also $7.49, Delran NJ shows 11 but it's about 40min drive. These are ok for that price but now they include that sensor on many multimeters as well which provides better value overall.

These have replaceable AAA batteries (some are sealed so when the batteries are dead, so is the device)

Great deal for under $4 if you can find one. Not sure what you mean by efficiency but it will tell you if it's working if it's greater than 50 volts but so will your fingers. Smilie
