Yes, we all know it's more expensive to order through Uber/Doordash/Grubhub. But Uber frequently gives out 40% off coupons which usually make up for that + any tips.

This is the way to go. I save my gift card credits from these deals and wait for Uber or DoorDash promos to make orders. Otherwise I order direct from restaurant or do pickup and save on fees…
