A medical company patented some array of LED shining through the skin to get the blood oxygen level. Apple hired some of their employees and made their own version. Medical company sued for patent infringement. Apple is asking White House to decide and in the meantime pulled the new watches off the shelves pending the decision.

I wouldn't think so. Ban doesn't apply to retailers. If anything the ban might keep the prices up on these since apple will have to stop supply to retailers.

Incredibly low. Possibly the largest discount we've ever seen for a newly released Apple Watch? On the other hand, prices have eroded for Apple Watches. It feels like $300 should be the norm for the base (non SE) model these days.
