Furthermore, Apple will no longer be servicing Apple watches out of warranty. If you have an Apple watch 7 lets say and its out of warranty, and the screen gets smashed, Apple will no longer fix it due to this ban preventing them from servicing previous models that use this stolen technology.

A medical company patented some array of LED shining through the skin to get the blood oxygen level. Apple hired some of their employees and made their own version. Medical company sued for patent infringement. Apple is asking White House to decide and in the meantime pulled the new watches off the shelves pending the decision.
Other colors, bands, size - I don't see the $60 coupon.

It's not a worldwide ban, it's US only. And it's not a sales ban, it's an import ban. The reason Apple stopped selling is because they drop ship from China.
No other retailer has to stop selling inventory.
And this will likely be resolved in a week, by either disabling the oxygen censor or a licensing deal.
