I put them on all but one of the doors in my house as well as the piece that goes on the frame. I had to return one because the door knob spacing wasn't standard on that particular door. Not much else can go wrong except if your door is too tight the door won't close with one of these installed. I think these are being returned for those reasons not because anything is wrong with them?
