Some items were free shipping, and some were only free shipping with $39 purchase; BUT I opened a chat and told them I had wanted the free shipping item that went OOS, and could they give me free shipping on a different item, and they did.

- Shipping starts with $3. OP promised FREE shipping. Have I missed a coupon?

Yes, but for charging purposes, I'll take these really high quality 60W-rated USB 2 cable over a cheaply constructed no-name cable that claims to be USB 3 but fails after a couple of months. I really like these cables, esp. for the price.
But for data transfer, definitely no. You want a 5GB or 10GB USB 3.
Meh, if I'm gonna get a cable that will stay in the wall 24/7 (because it's not usb 3.0) then I'd get a right angle/u shape/L shape/ etc so it won't take up as much space.
Well if that's true. I retract. I'm a reseller for them and candidly I've never tried to return a cable. Not worth the time to process in my environment. We just throw them away. We probably haveonly 3 or 4 warranty claims a year.
I've used their warranty like 4 times in 10 years. Never had to ship back. I think a photo once was requested.
Once it was such an old cable that they didn't carry anymore, so they sent me a 3 pack of similar cable.

I've done it 3 times. Each time I contact customer service, they tell me to send them a photo of the cable cut, and they mail me another. If the one I originally ordered isn't in stock they approve a similar one. I say buy with confidence.

Not the same product and definitely not a good price.
I'm keeping an eye out for better deals. It seems that with all the "free" iPhone 15 Christmas upgrades, inexpensive USB-C cables are being snapped up like crazy.

I tried to replicate getting free shipping by chatting with a representative. I spent 18 minutes in chat and was not successful. Oh, well.
Sorry to hear that. The story I told the rep was that the item had been in my cart, and that I thought I had checked out, put in my credit card, but I never got a confirmation and when I came back to try again, the product was out of stock. She suggested I buy an alternative SKU and when I said those didn't have free shipping, could she waive the shipping, it was a pretty quick yes.
