Some items were free shipping, and some were only free shipping with $39 purchase; BUT I opened a chat and told them I had wanted the free shipping item that went OOS, and could they give me free shipping on a different item, and they did.
- 3pk is OOS ~10 minutes after the posting.
- 1.5ft 1-pk $1.89 is only for the red
- Shipping starts with $3. OP promised FREE shipping. Have I missed a coupon?
Edit: SD staff has seemingly truncated the OP (likely inadvertently), which made it look like shipping was free. The front page timing was also apparently unfortunate.
To be fair to the OP, here's OP's answer to my points for those interested here:
Can these USB-C to USB-C cables be used on portable monitors for display and power.
Some USB-C cables are only power so don't output to a portable monitor.
Well if that's true. I retract. I'm a reseller for them and candidly I've never tried to return a cable. Not worth the time to process in my environment. We just throw them away. We probably haveonly 3 or 4 warranty claims a year.
Will the 3 pack cables work with Carplay and Android Auto?
You're being downvoted but I have had more than a dozen USB-A to USB-C cables that were laying around not work with CarPlay in my Honda.
It's a valid question. The cable I have now works, but the connection is so finicky. Never had any issue before switching to USB-A to USB-C cables.. no other connection issues with my ProMax 15 either.

Each monitor will have different power and resolution requirements (for example, 4K video requires the most robust cable specs).
As a rule, avoid USB 2 cables. Ideally, the specs should explicitly mention video support up to the resolution and speed you need. USB C 3.1 is your starting point but USB 3.2 will support more devices and USB4 would be the most future-proof.

Weird.
Same question on whether these USB-C to USB-A cables work for CarPlay.
My sister has a 2019 Honda and iPhone 15 Pro. I want to set up wired CarPlay for her but from what I see the car only has USB-A ports.
I know CarPlay recognized my iPhone XS connected via the Apple Lightning to USB-A cable.
Also these would be nice to have around for slow overnight charging. I have so many of those white Apple 5w square chargers around.
PS: if these crap out and Monoprice won't honor the warranty you can recycle them in-store at Staples. They give you $5 store credit the following month.
