If your device does not support U3, these cards are compatible with the U1 and Class 10 standards, each of which guarantee minimum write speeds of 10 MB/s.

The only difference between this and said Sandisk is the 300MB/s vs 200MB/s read speed. Which saves about 3 minutes when moving 128GB of data from the card to a computer. Is that really worth an extra $100 on sale, let alone the absurd "regular" price?

However, if you're a serious pro doing sport/wildlife, high resolution/bitrate/fps video or what not etc that UHS-II can write 3x faster @ 260MB/s is needed.
