This is a 3+1 bearing reel, there is nothing to write home about.

Yea good kids real or specific purpose, I use one for casting crab traps as I don't really care about drag etc then.

I have had really bad experience with Walmart Abu reels. They tend to wear out/freeze up very quickly. I'd pass on this one.

Got this today. I have to say, it's a beast. Looking forward to keeping it in the car with a cheap rod for those random pull off the road and fish moments in life. 8lb mono and some wacky senkos. Can't beat $15.
