I went back and looked at my last 5 years ordering premier and it was $55 every year. This isn't a deal you are just paying for the gift card.

Each year Amazon matches Costco's after Christmas price. Amazon's total price includes a $10 gift card and Costco's price includes a $10 credit. If you pay to e-file state, both cost effectively the same. If you don't e-file state and have no use for the $10 TurboTax credit, then Amazon is the better deal. (In 2021 Amazon had a price mistake on Premier so it was priced the same as Deluxe for several hours.)

Turbo Tax is such a rip off but this is not their fault they are just being a VERY GREEDY corporation and taking advantage of the fact that the government does not have an easy way to pay our taxes.

Shame on them though. These prices go up year over year. Getting greedier and Greedier.

Doesn't the free ones or most of the good ones have a limit on income? Seems like couple years ago I looked into them and most did.

If you have samsclub membership, they have the turbotax premier download or cd for same price + $10 credit for additional use such as state e-file.
Chase has 10% additional cb offer for samsclub expiring on 31st.
Comes out a good deal for around $60 and extra $10 credit.

I hate commenting on TurboTax deals here... too many whinos, who have to let everyone know how bad tax software is. These people seem to not be able to stand it that someone us buy these product. Be great if the comments talked about the deal and not the politics.

Home and Business edition for $76, in the same deal:

Home & Business is the one I need too. Amazon, Costco and Sam's Club are all within 11 cents of each other. The Costco and Sam's Club do offer $10 off "in-product add-ons," but that's not something I would use.
