Holiday decorations already down, you?

Yeah, I guess I put up Christmas decorations up too early this year and was just so tired of it all I took it all down last night after work,
The strings of lights that I draped over some bushes are unplugged for the season but still outside since it's all rainy here. When it's drier I'll bundle them off and store in the garage all balled up lol alongside the Halloween lights
They will have to stay that way until spring when I can move some stuff out of the garage and reorganize.
Some people put their trees up on Christmas day and leave them up for the following month.
What about all of you? If you put up decorations are they still up and how long will you leave them up?

My decor was minimal this year, mainly for the benefit of the tiny humans that came over this past weekend. They even artfully rearranged some of the decor and ornaments on my tree

I didn't put up the 9 footer (long ago SD!) but had up the little 4 footer and my Charlie Brown tree.. plus stuff all over the mantle so.. it wasn't much to take care of.

Black Friday weekend I picked up a set of 3.5' Inflatable Mickey and Minnie Mouse Xmas figures in our Bedroom Picture Window. It had the benefit of being Flat vs. the slope of the roof. I finally had to install a couple of hooks and string to keep them from falling onto the roof...I guess they were hitting the egg nog a bit hard lol.
As I've gotten my RV fence completed...I would string Christmas lights further and further along as the fence progressed. Finally made it to the property line
The Mice will be down soon as the fans in them make an annoying vibration.
Just in a very 'bah humbug' mood the past couple days (actually years).

Do you think leaving my 12' skeleton that's holding an upside down decorated tree is over the top?

That sounds like year-round decoration to me

yeah this year seemed especially humbuggy.
Still have some snowflake decals on the window. Lots of foot traffic passes by so... Also, it's my way of asking Mother Nature for snow.
I think it's all a bit harder to manage when you live alone.
And,yes, much harder to put it all up and down alone. DH had surgery in early November which meant he could do nothing. Couldn't climb the ladder for outside lights, couldn't bring the boxes up from the basement. Also shortly after the surgery we had some basement flooding due to a plumbing issue. I feel like I moved everything in the storage part of the basement 4 times already. The kid goes back to school on the 9th so if it's not down by then that'll be the day. But I'm done looking at it all.
