Good deal. I ordered this last week and, even though it's still pricey for what it is, it's a quality product and probably one of the best prices you'll find on an authentic alpine loop.

However, there is a rumor stating the new gen apple watch will feature new band designs and will not be compatible with all current bands.

It's possible. Friend of mine scored a bunch of new never opened iPhone 7/7+'s, and some used 6's and 7's because his company was replacing their employee phone stock with iPhone 11's. They were trashing them but he got them with the promise they wouldn't end up on marketplace or eBay.

Temu or aliexpress have them they quality is pretty damn good. Definitely wouldn't ever buy an official Apple one ever again for 50 -100 dollars more. Stupid.

I use them for running daily and they have never failed me or come undone.

Not true at all. I've bought dozens of bands from Apple and AliExpress, for around $2 the knockoffs are identical. Even at $50 this is around a 1000% markup by Apple for something that costs them a few cents.

For people who don't want to buy this because it's expensive or SHEIN or another Chinese manufacturer sells similar or better for $5 - buzz off? Don't vomit here, it's a great deal if one wants Apple manufactured/licensed merchandise.

It's pretty much the same reason American football, baseball, basketball, cricket, soccer jerseys cost $$$ when kids in Bangladesh are making them.

The copies of these particular bands are not identical to the real ones, whether that matters is up to the buyer. The copies will use a aluminum hardware whereas the official uses titanium and the shape of said hardware is a bit different from official. Probably doesn't matter in the long run but if you are buying a $700 watch I can see the benefit to pairing it with a better strap.

I can justify the price. I don't feel like watch band (even Apple original) should cost 1/3 of the price of the watch itself, which is great piece of technology
