Looks like it's almost time to piss off the local home depot again by taking in a menard's bag next week. They honor it, ever so grudgingly.

Yes, officially starts Jan. 1, but some stores already have the bags and honor the discount at the register starting today.

Sounds like they're low chances. Not worth it unless it's on the way somewhere. I suppose you could call (har har, violate SD rule, but this isn't a stock issue or price error) and ask if they have the 15% bags out yet.

Is that true, what authority do you speak from? Don't the bags come with the Sunday newspaper still, on the Sunday before Jan 1? They used to, at least years ago. I just don't get a Sunday print paper anymore, or else I would be able to answer myself
