I just scored this after cancelling and losing $250 on an order from last week...too good to pass up...$8000 total discount and another $7500 tax credit...only thing I am waiting for is trade in value to come back. If it is decent, I am all in and taking delivery friday.
Scored this for only $49000 with destination fee after 5.4k inventory discount, Cybertruck reservation $1k discount, and $2k discount on acceleration boost.. Model Y long range dual motor, grey, 20" rims, 7 seat, and acceleration boost (thanks to 10000 loyalty credits). If you factor in the $7500 federal credit that brings the price under $42k! Wow.

How many Tesla threads does it take to ruin Slick Deals?
Why do the mods allow SD to be constantly polluted by thread after thread of the same nonsense.
No Tesla is a slick deal. They are all MSRP.
These threads are nothing more than investors pumping the stock and owners offering referral codes.
Why not just merge all of the threads into a Tesla Mega-Thread? Then all of these daily fluctuation in MSRP can be updated there. For every 1 popular thread you have 10 with so many TDs its insane.
The high cost of insurance on a Tesla
The cost of a level 2 charger for a Tesla
Range anxiety because Tesla lies about the range and everyone knows it.
Even more loss of range in cold weather
increased repair cost maintenance costs Hertz has the fleet data on this.
Lack of parts availability for Tesla. Everyone knows this.
Loss of resale value on the Tesla. They are only going down in price
But if you have a $45K budget, you are better off with a Toyota Highlander Hybrid.
And you get Apple car play and android auto. NOT in a Tesla

New Model Y is going to Shanghai first rumored to be in July 2024 so it may not come to US until late 2024. Might not even be till early 2025 if you go by Model 3 refresh pattern with Shanghai.
