A lot of them "smart charge" by resetting, causing a disconnect-reconnect. That gets nuts if you have something that tops off, waits 30 minutes, then starts charging again because it causes all of your other things to cycle off then on.
It's ok if it's silent, but if they're all on chime, it gets old REALLY quickly
