Super entertaining and underrated. I know there's not a ton of horror tv out there relatively speaking but this was easily one of the best and spookiest horror series I've ever seen.

It was ok, the second season goes down the usual modern audience path into oblivion though.

One of the best horror series ever made, the acting, directing, and the dialogue are amazing and it really keeps you on the edge of your seat!

I really enjoyed this one. Great acting IMO. Bit of a slow burn but for me that's a plus. Not into cringey jump-scares the whole time.

This show should have been a one-and-done. The first season is exceptional, an adaptation of acclaimed author Dan Simmons' novel with an amazing cast crew, and stunning production values. The second season... Is not. But, luckily there's no connective tissue between them. Best ignore it exists, and simply appreciate this first season as a standalone adaptation.

Second season was interesting for the look at the Japanese internment camps, but once they left that, it wasn't the best. Still kind of watchable, but the first season was far better.

I really enjoyed this. A must for my collection. Watch it on a projector with great blacks like the JVC models, it has very dim dark scenes, with haunting period filmography with lots of candlelit and moonlit scenes!
