SD Mobile Site 500 Internal Server Error

Been having issues on my iPhone 14 Pro accessing the SD mobile site via Safari since just after Christmas. If I request the desktop version of the website, it works fine. Having this issue on both the cellular network and over WiFi and other phones.

Yeah, we have pretty good logging available in our Load Balancers and I didn't see any 5xx errors for the source IP addresses we've identified. We're also self hosted and our web servicing layer didn't return a 503, nor could I find a 503 from our CDN. That's why I was looking for a screenshot to see if there was any other reference there that might point me to the source of the error.

Thanks y'all for the additional details and the patience. I'm going to loop in the dev team that works on this part of the site, and see if we can track this down. It may be hitting a service that I haven't checked.

Been having this error for weeks now! Loads fine maybe once or twice per 10 tries.

Seems to happen only on Safari - I guess it could be due to iCloud private relay?
Shouldn't be hard to reproduce the error: All you need is an iPhone with safari. Maybe turn on iCloud private relay (I also have AdGuard content blocker)

I turned off iCloud private relay and the issue remained.

I don't use an ad blocker when I'm away from home(pi hole at home). The problem remain regardless of location or add blocker status.

That said, I have not had an issue for 3-4 days.

Try pixie dust or unicorn tears.

I think I went several days without issue but it has happened a few times today.

I'm having the same issue.

iPhone 12 Max
IOS 17.3
Safari
Disabled iCloud private relay and all safari extensions.

I have confirmed that this only happens to me on mobile Safari, but mobile Chrome has no issues.

Are your LBs treating all client headers and user agents the same?

Sometimes loads if I switch off WiFi but can only reliably access via VPN.

Through which vpn can you reliably access, apples private relay or a third party commercial vpn?

I too have been seeing this issue for several weeks now, on and off. I think I've narrowed it down to iCloud private relay. The default is from trackers and websites. If I set it to trackers only, the issue goes away, or at least I have not been greeted with 500 internal error when set to trackers only.
