It sounds like they wax it themselves with something like sno seal rather than buying the wax impregnated fabric from places famous for making it like Millerain.

Received my jacket. This exceeded my expectations, particularly for the low price. The jacket looks good and fits well. Some initial smell (a little bit like crayons) but fading. The jacket arrived securely and artfully packed in a large flat box, with a handwritten note and a free t-shirt. Thumbs up to the Woodroad Gear company.

Mine has been inside the whole time other than while wearing and it still smells. Maybe sitting it outside is a good idea. Might have to try that. It's certainly not as smelly as when I first got it though.

Wow, got it for $39 after mil discount. That's not bad at all, and I like the look and natural fibers. Probably a bit warm to wear at the moment, so I'll have to wait a bit before trying it out.
