You could also just write "this is not for me" and we would all understand. My wife's grandmother drinks a lot of wine, these are easier than corkscrew. Lots of folk like the ease of these. I still prefer the classic opener but I have nothing against these.

I think this is the one I bought pre Christmas from bestbuy. Nowhere on the box does it say a word about vacuum sealing.

Got vacuum one and it's cheapest opener, after manual, but works perfectly every time! Effortless! The sound it great also.

Lasts years before the battery takes a shit. Much better than AA powered ones that can't produce enough torque.

No, obviously this one is CWO-48 that is selling without the Vacuum seal. You can get the CWO-50 for $39 from Best Buy or $36 from Amazon. Keep in mind you can always get the Vacuum seal for around $10.

I've had a similar Cuisinart wine opener for awhile and it works while, but you cannot keep it in its base unless the base is plugged in because it will completely drain the battery. Also, you need to maintain firm downward pressure on the wine opener to successfully remove corks.

The Product description is incorrect. The Wine Opener for $15.99 does not have the vacuum sealer the SKU for the one with a sealer is; Cuisinart - Cordless Wine Opener with Vacuum Sealer - Black
Model:CWO-50SKU:6377831 - $39.99 - SD should correct this in the email description.
