They do not plug into one another but you can use the app and link them together so that they act as one set. I had my tree with 600 lights, a 600 light set and a 400 light set all synced together this year.

Edited to add that I recommend somehow marking the end of the strands so you can easily find them when it's time to take the tree down. I spent over an hour pulling mine off this year as they tangle very easily and didn't want to let go of the branch. I seriously considered chucking everything out the door - I was so frustrated but remembered how expensive they were... But even then 😡

100% can confirm this is gen II. I bought this exact set from same retailer last year at this time. It doesn't go any lower than this.

To my knowledge, they are connected but in two different 300-light strands. Think the letter "Y", with each arm being a strand and the stem being the plug.

Edit: sorry, didn't completely understand the question. From my experience, no, they are not connectable between sets.
I bought 2 sets of 600

Total 1200 . Hope they can link

They all plug in individually. They cannot be plugged in to each other if that's what you're asking?

Aren't they discontinuing gen 2? I saw a Reddit post a few weeks ago that mentioned it. This is a great deal nonetheless

I have 2 sets on my bushes... they do not link wire-wise, but they sync via the app to act as one.

Yes, for gen II it is as follows per their site: For Generation II: You can group up to 4000 LEDs or 10 devices (As mentioned the linking is via the app, not physically)

I myself have 5 sets grouped in the front yard at about 2000 lights

I would wait for a better deal. Bought mine around Thanksgiving for 125dlls+tax from Amazon.

Edit: Not the + White version, but I don't really care for that.
Being that this place did not charge tax on my whole purchase these came in at about $10 more than what the regular RGB ones at $125 + Tax would have been for me, add that these are for the RGB + W version which for me is well worth an extra $10.

is this enough for a 7' fake noble fir? my pre-wired incandescents are basically all dead at this point...
No, I use two 600 count sets on a 7' tall tree and I plan on getting a 400 light set to add to it.

I ordered twinkly tree from Costco with 600 light for $550

Thinking about returning it and buying 2 of these sets and a bare tree next year and have twice as many light for less money
I have a 7' twinkly tree with 600 lights and IMO it's not enough to make the animations look good. I now add a second string of 600 now. The great thing is you can dim the brightness so 1200 lights doesn't blind you.

I have ~25 twinkly products and about half have come from post-Christmas sales at esbenshades. They're awesome.
