I bought this on 20-Dec for $629 and have received it, but I forgot about my CamelCamelCamel alert (which I'm glad for), so when I saw this I contacted Amazon customer service and they refunded me the $130 difference.

I've had a dual fuel champion for two years and it's been great. Only run it on propane. At the time the biggest gripe was that none of them came with a 30amp outlet on them. I use mine for a camper, which this one would avoid needing to use a 30 to 20 amp adapter.

This is only 1600 rated watts on propane assuming that it isn't cold outside causing the output to drop significantly or shut down altogether unless you heat the propane cylinder.

igen2500 has 2200 running watts compared to this which is a meager 1600 LP / 1800 gasoline running watts. And that's only one major difference which would cause me to avoid it. It lacks the highly useful to me large graphic digital display panel. It has the annoying CO sensor. igen2500 has often been on sale for $400. The igen2500 is replaced by igen2800 which is currently $475.
