Holy cow the day i see a Panasonic display on SD. I really hope the king comes back to his throne~ Outside of the US, panasonic is still unrivaled when it comes to colors and processing. Im curious how the commercial monitor compares to consumer TVs though. Their OLED TVs in the international market are the cream of the crop and are imported to use for color grading and mastering in the movie industry.

Its not but its a Panasonic display none the less. if you know why thats important then you know why this display is so valuable. Panasonic is the actual king of color accuracy outside of the big names.

Can you give any technical points on why it's as good as OLED? It's a whopper of a price tag compared to similarly sized OLEDs which are less than 2000 right now. This is double that.

Panasonic color science & processing is unparalleled outside of maybe Sony. Its always been their selling point as a company and still is today even after the downfall of plasma. If you want pure color accuracy then Panasonic is the goat. Plus these displays are commercials use which means they will most likely outlast any OLED display by several lifetimes.
