Good call. That would take 15.625 amps well above the 15 amp breakers 80% rated max of 12 amps. More than likely a 1440 watts. But even then, not likely. I have a kill a watt, I'll do some testing.

yeah, i figured that it was 1500 or less. got to love their version of elec math.. laugh out loud

oh and i got at least one of those kill-a-watt meters around here somewhere. i killed one by letting it plugged in all the time. laugh out loud

Good for the shop. Yeah it's not a heat gun (which I also have) but sometimes the heat gun is too much.

I had another brand of this design. Exact same design, with the "cold shot" button. The cold shot arcs inside a sealed component every time you use it. The arcing causes the component to over heat and become brittle over time. The arcing caused build-up on the conductor, making the cold shot not work intermittently. I tried fixing it by cleaning the carbon(?) buildup but the plastic component crumbled from the heat/arcing.

It worked well though and would buy it again at this price, if I didnt already have a different hair dryer
