Keep in mind that their "extra trade credit" usually comes with a lower base trade value that offsets the increased credit. For example, last time the Series S had a trade value of around $190 that dropped to something like $130+$50 extra when the promo went live, so you actually lost value with the extra credit compared to the day before.

So many questions. So you bought both consoles, why? And why would you opt to keep the S if you have the X, which is graphically superiorand has more internal storage?

Depends but if it were me, no way would I trade it in for a measly $115. Id just assume keep it for that. I get that it's a bit redundant being that it isn't backwards compatible with anything but I just couldn't bring myself to do that. Id much rather find a child that would enjoy but doesn't have the means or someone else that I knew would appreciate getting it for a deal. For example, one of my jobs is working with disabled folks to help them live their best lives. I've got a client down the hall that has a Nintendo Wii, a handful of terrible games, and Mario Kart that would absolutely love getting any system let alone a big upgrade like a PS4 Pro. If it were me, I'd much rather find a nice home for it than get back a measly $115 just so GameStop can go resell it for $225 😀

Your logic doesn't make sense. You intend to keep the Series S forever? Why not return the S and keep the X? If you're keeping it forever, the value is irrelevant. Why not go with the one that has better performance, more storage, and a disk drive?
