Doing simple things like that will eliminate 95% of all issues.
Ps5 launch disc edition will get you
346.50 + 50 = 396.50 for pro members
And
315 + 50 = 365 for non pro members?
Or are the rates shown online including the $50 credit

So all 3 of these didn't work on PSN credit
$5 monthly cert
11k points (redeemable for $1 and $10 coupons)
~$160 trade in credit left over from previous trade in deal.
At this point imo if you are trading into gamestop I would have a plan to spend it all soon before they go under. Might try the steam deck deal even if I don't really want it.
It has to do with trade in credit for me. Like the trade in value is adding insult to injury if I opt to trade it in down the road. The Series X is meant for long term usage. Not like a rental or lease lol. but obviously I'm the minority here lol
But now that stock has caught up and surpassed demand, we're back in the real world. Just this past holiday season you could get either a Series X or PS5, brand new, and with a game included, for $300. GameStop is currently offering $281 with this promo. You can't really expect to do much better, and especially not if you're selling to GameStop of all places.
If you ask me, a $19 loss (plus whatever your taxes were) isn't all that bad, and if your console included a game when you purchased, you get to keep that as well.
If the Series X isn't for you, that's fine, but I think expecting it to retain some kind of value like 95%+ of your purchase price is just gonna end up disappointing you.

I'm not going to get rid of my Series X though. I find the disc drive on it to be helpful every once in a while.
