Yep because Newegg is only the code retailer in this case, they don't handle the subscription at all. You can buy as many codes as you're allowed and stack them directly at Microsoft. My subscription is good through 2028 because of buying the max whenever Newegg does this deal.

Stay far far away from Amazon though because they take over the subscription and you have to let it run out before you can take it back over to Microsoft directly.

edit: who and why did someone down vote this absolutely factual information? SD should really require users to respond if they want to rate someone's comment...

They're all garbage. The point of these is to get you to install their software. But this means you get a discount on Microsoft Office, one which I max out every year

I believe you buy 4 personal codes and stack them on 1 account. Then apply the 5th code which would be the family code. Doing so switches your personal MS 365 plan to a family MS365 plan.
