Thanks i think ima just get the vanatoo zeros and call it a day it seems. Just gotta wait for it to go on sale or b stock to be available
* LSX II offers the highest quality sound in its size with streaming up to 24bit/384kHz, making high-fidelity sound accessible to more listeners.
* LSX II supports HDMI ARC and USB-C inputs, making it the perfect companion for TV, laptop and more.
* When partnered with other wireless speakers, you can use AirPlay 2, Chromecast or Roon to fill the entire house with the same playlist.
* LSX II delivers high-fidelity sound while it is compact enough to fit into any setting. You can place the speakers on a bookshelf, desktop or even attach them to the wall with dedicated accessories.
* Built in streaming services include: Spotify, Tidal, Amazon Music, Qobuz, Deezer, QQ Music, and more.
That being said there are reasons to consider spending the extra for the lsxII like better inputs, software, and dac.

Figured I'd mention the KEF LSX on accessories4less are down to $599 new. Could easily add a wiim mini if you wind up hating the old app and still be much cheaper than the LSXIIs.
Ended up buying vanatoo zeroes on bstock ill update how they are without subs
At about $120 on sale, you get a 4" composite woofer with a 1/2" silk dome tweeter in a desktop friendly size. They have exceptional connectivity with a subwoofer output (that alters the crossover frequency of the main drivers for better performance), optical and RCA input, and Bluetooth.
They'd be really decent by themselves, but combined with a Dayton Audio SUB-1000L thrown under the desk, I don't believe there's anything as capable for $300 that is truly comparable (low profile, low cost, lot of inputs).
Have those and i think creative desktop speaker sound way better at a similar or low price point. Edifier are speakers alright but they are not audiophile grade. I don't think there is even a value proposition there. These are worth the money for sure. Edifier sound like crap compared to these.
I also bought a Sonos era 300. I have issues every single f'ing day with Sonos app.
