The 2022 S95B was first gen QD-OLED & had a super thin panel that bent very easily. Therefore I would never recommend buying that version used.

This is a 2023 model & they supposedly reinforced the panel, but take a look at how thin it still is. You're really rolling the dice when buying one of these used.

This was $1800 new the majority of the time. You could save $400 buying a "excellent" open box. Probably only worth it if it is super easy for you to transport the TV & if you have no problem packing it back up & returning it if something is wrong with it.

When new price for this set dropped to $1800, I jumped on the deal. I've been extremely happy with the PQ. The colors are more vibrant as compared to the LG B and C series sets. I own an LG which is great but QD-Oled is the current king of display technology.

So is this the best buy model number for the S90C? Looks like the s89c only comes as a 77", but not many other major differences per the Rtings comparison. Are these QDOLED or woled?

Yes it's 77" only & yes it's a QD-OLED panel. The difference is the stand - the S89C has a cheaper looking stand
