Well the BB employees are wrong. S89C has a qd oled panel while c3 has a wrgb panel. Qd oled is much brighter and has more color volume

Just try not to watch the same thing if it has static images for hours straight, avoid using max brightness/oled light when possible, and let the screen saver run if you pause and walk away from the tv for a bit. That will delay the onset of burn in so you can enjoy the positives of oled for a longer period.

I was in a same boat went with Samsung for brightness due to windows in living room and reflections from a million lights on first floor. So far happy. Now need a wall Mount.. what do you guys suggest

How big of a deal is the lack of Dolby vision support for watching movies, etc?

I bought this last time it was on sale and have been very happy. I disable the smart features and have it hooked up to a receiver and just care about picture quality, I don't even use it's remote and it's mounted to the wall so don't use the stand. I had to tweak some picture settings but overall very happy with it. I wish the menu had a few more settings and some stuff seems sort of buried deep in there. Picture quality I can't compare directly to the newest LG but it definitely an improvement to a 2020 LG CX OLED. Pretty universal now that TVs are so thin but found installing it nerve wracking as it's heavy and so thin on the edges and top lifting it up to the wall I was worried I would stress the panel.

+1 to this question. I still have time to cancel the Amazon order and grab this S89C. Brighter QD-OLED panel is enticing, but C3 is slightly cheaper ($1725, or $1640 with Prime card cash back).

For movies, in my experience, its a game changer in terms of HDR presentation, even on the streaming services. For gaming, it is not that impressive and rarely implemented natively, compared to movies/shows.

I have the 77" C3 mounted on the Sanus Elite Advanced tilt 4D mount.

It will also work for the S89C

I really like that I can tilt the mounted TV in various directions. The profile of the mount is super thin where the TV is almost flushed up again the wall ( well about 2 inches) , yet the mount can be extended out 6.8 inches for easy access to back of TV for cables, etc.
