Not a slick deal! The average star rating from the 30 most recent reviews is 2.63. It seems the product has changed from the one that garnered the good reviews.

That is true. I just returned the two I ordered before Christmas. I am not impressed with the light.

Might be a dumb question but can these be connected to RGBIC ones?

Govee M1 striplights are the ones you want, unless you don't care about quality and are maybe just buying these for your kids room or something

Just curious how this compares to something like the Philips Hue lightstrip plus, which I just bought for about $75 on sale at Target for 80". I think?

Just wondering what the expectations are, comparing 100' for $15 to ~7' for $75.

These are probably the bottom of the Govee line. These only have 3.6 LEDs per foot and consume 12 watts - they might be good for ambiance or just to add a little splash of color here and there. Take a look at the chart in the middle of the Amazon product page labeled "Compare with similar items". If you want something that really pops and/or need brightness, you really need to pick the ones with a much higher LED/ft and wattage. If you try and combine this strip with something like the Govee M1s, these will get drowned out.

does anyone have suggestions for decent quality connectors for these LED strips? I bought some 90* connectors and some straight-thru "extenders" that "snap" together but the connection is pretty spotty.

Yes, I wrote on another Govee post recently that I have 2x of the 50'. Neither one work correctly - one constantly disconnects from Alexa and it's a real PITA to re-add, and both have weird color issues. It's too bad because I like the app.

Can you cut these and use some standard 4 pin wire soldered between?
