This is the only movie that I have ever seen and openly wept. Very, very powerful and extremely hard to watch.

I've watched this movie more than once and I'm just remembering when you said it that it was with English subtitles. I never had a problem with subtitles as watching movies in their original language make it feel more authentic to me although I cannot understand the language. Can't say I enjoyed this one due to the story, but it's the only religious movie that really moved me and let me felt like I was witnessing the events first hand. Will be purchasing this. At $3 it's a steal.

That's crazy, I've hardly ever seen any VUDU movie purchasable for under $5.

I so wanted to get into this movie, but as with all movies that are translated. All I am doing is starring at the bottom of the screen and reading, missing a bunch of the movie itself. It's like work to watch a movie that is not in English, as such, I never finished it.

I dont understand how people can watch movies like this when all they are doing is reading.

Gibson talked about producing the sequel (where Jesus went after he died) but too bad it didn't come to fruition.

I would double check to see if you own this movie already, I had thought I had but when I accessed the link it showed that I did not own it. Right before purchasing I thought to do a search for the movie title and sure enough I do own it and this would have just been an additional copy. Frustrating that there are two listings, any idea why it shows in their database twice? I may be missing something on my end.

"The Passion of the Christ 2 is confirmed and it is due to begin filming in spring 2023. Star Jim Caviezel confirmed the script had been completed in September 2020."

Unfortunately, it won't be released until 2025.

The MA version [vudu.com] was distributed by 20th Century Fox and is no longer available for purchase, but you can check that link to see if you already own it.

This non-MA version [vudu.com] is distributed by bitMAX.

I wish I had converted my Blu-ray copy before Disney bought 20th Century Fox and quashed the D2D conversions of all their titles. Sadwalk

One track mind if you can't read and watch at the same time

I think this is just a mental block for you, and it will keep you from experiencing some of the best cinema from around the world. Subtitles are single or double lines of small text that take up roughly 5% of a movie screen. Depending on your reading speed, it takes maybe a second or two to read and comprehend what is going on. It is not nearly as dramatic as you are painting it out to be, unless you are just that lazy
