Bought one on last posting. Laptop runs fine, no slowdown or anything. Screen is bright enough in daylight usage. Didn't notice any heating issues as well. I bought it as a gift so I didn't open it up to see what can be upgraded.

This is my experience.
I bought very similar 2 (or was it 3?) years ago. Has one big issue. After 9 months it started to overheat. Talking about loosing wifi, slooooow down, unresponsive, you name it. I tried everything, used cooler under it, run all sorts of diagnostics with assistance from Bleeping Computer, then replaced SSD drive, The result? Noting changed. it still overheats and very often unusable.
I gave up.
I am not a gamer, used it for internet and email and web surfing. No streaming either. Light user.
If I spend more time making a computer work than using it, it goes in the garbage..

probably need to re-paste heatsink and clean the heatsink/fan, especially if you have pets and/or dusty environment.

that is exactly what the person who replaced hard drive did. cleaned everything. And said the computer was clean. And no dusty environment here.

How is that possible (2 or 3 years ago) if the processor came out in 2022?
