Good price at $19.98; keep in mind that about 4 oz of the weight has been attributed to the "butter sauce" that's included with it. This item is out of stock at my local Sam's Club (Bay Area). Make sure you pick out the biggest legs you see - ideally the less legs for the weight the better, as they'll be full of meat (and the shell-to-meat ratio is always best on big crabs).

It shows $39.98 or $19.99/lb. But when I add 2 to cart for pickup, the total price shows $39.98. So I guess they are $19.99 per 2 pound bag. I'm in the DFW areas.
Which store did you get it at? I've tried several Sams but still showing ~$80 in cart for 2

In DFW and seeing $40 for 1 or $80 for 2. Not a reproducible deal during specified time period. TD

I bought this a few months ago and the crab meat was extremely salty. The whole family didn't like it, I live in socal and live Dungeness crabs go for $6 a lb…meat is sweeter.

Pretty sure those are snow crabs. King crab is way more.

I bought these earlier in 2023 and steamed them. They grossed both my wife and I, avid seafood lovers, out.

It is best to give them a bath first to get rid of the excess saltiness.

1) Thaw them in the fridge for 8 to 12 hours. Don't thaw them over 12 hours.
2) Soak them in ice water baths for a minute or two. Dump the water and repeat another 2 times. This will get rid of a lot of the saltiness.
3) Steam them for 4 minutes.
4) Enjoy.

My wife decided to surprise me by cooking one leg by herself (ironically, while I was out buying 4 bags/8lbs of crab last night). She didn't give it a bath first. And yes, it was kind of gross (due to the saltiness).
I have been declared the unanimous top chef in my household. But really, it is because I can read and follow a recipe/instructions.
I have also been declared the unanimous top dishwasher put-er-in-er. Not sure if she in inept or has cleverly figured out that if she did it wrong enough that I would beg her never to put dishes in the dishwasher again.
