oh hey i bought this last time it came around here. it's ok. takes up a fair bit of space. Had to replace the handles because the ones that came with it were plastic and snapped after a few months. I bought some metal ones and haven't had an issue since.

I still use it but I feel like it's a very limited application. for 100 bucks (at that time, it's a little more now), it's sturdy and I feel safe using it (6' 185lb), but I kind of want to give it away and buy a proper cage or cable machine because of the amount of space this takes up. it's nice for doing pushup variations (elevating your feet or whatever to change the angle).

Beginner man? My brother in Christ. 300lbs should turn 90% into a fitness freak before they need more.

Note: 6,2 225-250 depending on the season.

I wouldn't. It's your standard enameled metal, and you reposition it via metal pegs. I feel like the moment that coating is compromised you're going to be stuck with it in whatever position you last left it.
I was going to ask the same thing, thanks for answering.

Is there any good examples of building a pull up bar into area under deck? I was thinking of using galvanized metal pipes with threads and the round things that you screw on the wood and connect the pipe with 90 degrees. I am not sure if those are strong enough. I also want to make sure I don't damage my deck wood beams but I think it's a good way to build something outside that we can work out in fresh air. Unless we build one like rocky had in his backyard, but that needs concrete in the floor.

Such a stupid comment. An average man can easily do dips exceeding 300p (body weight + additional weight), even pull-ups get there if you go low reps. This is fine but mostly for females and beginner man
You must not be familiar with people that do calisthenics and body weight routines exclusively. You know, like functional fitness stuff.

Yes, it will need to be assembled. They will not ship the fully 4x4x7.5' unit to your door.

It's easy to assemble if you're capable of using a couple of wrenches to tighten bolts.

They do not ship it to your house fully assembled on its own truck and carry it into your house with white glove service? They do not provide a Hollywood coach that comes to your house each day for a month providing personal training and then cooks your meals? I'm out!!!

Been wanting one of these for a while but didn't want to pay too much or want something cheap and this seems to have some nice extra features with a fairly low price. I'll bite

Um. Not really. Your average male gym rat? Maybe. On "supplements"? Maybe. But the average male...nah. You're trippin'.

If you're THAT serious...this "machine" isn't going to be for the "average" you have in mind anyway. Come on man...read the room.

OK. Thanks for your help. Sounds like a cover would be a must-do. I'll have to think this over a bit.
