And yes, these two with ads was cheaper for them than just netflix ad free, going forward. As it should be, with all the ads the consumer will now be watching. . .
You get a new 12 month code every year. You have to redeem the code every year or they'll switch you to hulu's payment system. This isn't like the Apple promo where it's a one time code.
Btw, got a text message today that they will now be charging me $8.50 for netflix (currently paying 4.50 for Netflix standard no ads on ONE plan)
I called just for fun, and she said you will be charged 8.99 and I was like wtf, then her supervisor told me that there will be no change and I can ignore the text message. I recorded the call along with her name and id, but I hate all this monkey business with TM, I hope the folks running this company get a$$ cancer

And Hulu doesn't really help from what I've heard if you have a Disney/Espn+ bundle.or Hulu live. Hopefully you can upgrade with discount, or this is useless and an empty benefit .
Guessing it's cheaper for them to acquire in bulk 2x with ads accounts to give out, than one Netflix without ads. And after the $1 and $2 Hulu deals out, we know TMO isn't paying much for Hulu. . .

The offer seems to be for T-Mobile's home interent plans; I'm not sure it's for cell plans, but it's not clear at all on T-Mobile's web site who actually qualifies other than the FAQ, which takes you to the Internet plans.
I tried but wasn't able to get it, though I'm on a pre-pay plan and not post-pay.
