I ended up grabbing the SuperPower Braided Line instead, also on sale. 1097yds for $21.59, before tax. I paid ~$35 on Amazon the last time I purchased.

I like this for my use, as it's smaller diameter than the above. I've used PowerPro as well. For the money, this is fine for me and the creek fishing I do. I use it with a similar thickness 3ft KastKing Flourocarbon Leader and surgeon knot it to the braid. Whenever I snag, the leader breaks at the lure.

Thinking of going 10 lb to cut through weeds wherever I get a snag.. .

I concur. Something to consider, premium braids cast much smoother and further.

If you want premium, get premium. They are premium for a reason. These have held up for me as well. This summer I had the 30lb spooled with 3 knots connecting them (don't ask why) and I pulled a black tip shark to shore. It broke off right on the beach at the leader (50lb mono). Haven't left a Striper on these yet and I fish exclusively on rocky shores.

Tempted but I still have my two spools to go through.

Good price and no complaints of strength, however, I bought two spools of this last year and the color comes out of the string very quickly. After just a few days fishing with this line, my yellow and my green line that I bought were both just beige colored braided string. Whatever dye they use to color the line doesn't seem to be suited for use in water.
